Welcome to our cookbook blog

In the past year we have identified a list of foods to avoid due to allergies or intolerances in our family. This list wiped out some of the very staples of our diet and keeps us from eating in restaurants and from buying most prepared foods. Not everyone in the family avoids all these foods, but to simplify things we have tried to find recipes that we all like and that don't use any of the foods on the list. It has not been easy.

How do you make sandwich bread without yeast?
How do you make pizza without yeast or cheese or tofu or onions or garlic?
How do you make pumpkin pie without butter or milk or eggs?
How do you make cranberry sauce without cranberries?

We have found some answers, but we're still searching.

We've decided to share what we have found. Maybe we can help someone out there who faces similar dietary limitations. Maybe someone out there can help us tweak our recipes and make them tastier.

We hope to someday to travel as a family again. Having our recipes online will also mean that we can access them anywhere and fend for ourselves when far from home.

Thanks to our friends and family who have sent us recipes, suggested substitutions, and been patient with our many restrictions. Please send us more.

Happy, healthy eating!
